Dance crew of the month:
Hailing from the streets of M-City (Midrand), Johannesburg come the best Krump crew in South Africa. It’s hard to talk about the Krump scene in S.A and not drop the name 300 CRU. The crew was established in 2007 by 3 members and has since grown to have 12 members.
Repping their faith and the true form of Krump this crew have definitely put krumpin on the scene. While other people would say “Krump is dead”, this crew is keeping it alive locally with their show stopping performances and buck moves.
Taking Krump dancing to the next level last year they created the biggest Krump competition in S.A, Krump Olympics which this year saw the 300 bringing American Krump crew Xtreme Movement to compete in a USA vs. S.A Krump battle. Watching our local krumpers compete against krumpers from America filled me up with pride, because we are just that good!!! My personal highlight of the event was seeing the love these katz have for their craft to the point where some even cried (no homo).
The crew has recently established an entertainment company called 300 World Entertainment which aims to use dancing to inspire and motivate young people to reach their dreams.
So to the haters that say Krump is dead re-take your statement, because I don’t see Krump dying, not while 300 is around.
Oh and lastly CHRIST UP!!!!
